Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Sept. 24, 2025 – A man is being held on a $750,000 cash/surety bond after Jonesboro police said he raped a child on multiple occasions.

According to an affidavit, on Aug. 26, officers took a report from someone who said a friend of their daughter had been sexually assaulted by a family member.

A forensic interview with the department’s Crimes Against Children Division took place Sept. 4. In it, the victim said they were playing games with 25-year-old Brandon Kyle Moore, of Virginia Beach, VA, at the home of the victim’s grandparents.

The affidavit said Moore sexually assaulted the victim, and that the victim told police this had happened before several times, with the same acts happening each time.

The affidavit said Moore took video of what he was doing and showed the victim, and that Moore showed the victim videos of the things he was doing on his phone with other children and their “daddies.”

After a warrant for Moore’s arrest was issued, police contacted a task force officer for the U.S. Marshals, who proceeded to contact the U.S. Navy in Norfolk, VA. They found and arrested Moore, and he was brought back to Jonesboro on Sept. 23.

The following day, Judge Ralph Wilson found probable cause to charge Moore with rape. In addition to the $750,000 bond, Wilson ordered Moore to have no contact with the victim, but also anyone under 18. He also ordered Moore to have no electronic devices that can access the internet.

Moore is scheduled to be back in court Oct. 30.

Editor’s Note: Due to the graphic nature of the case, JRN has chosen not to divulge certain case details, such as the victim’s age and gender.
