A-State men’s basketball to end November with Thanksgiving MTE

Jonesboro, AR – (Contributed) – Arkansas State Athletics announced details for the men’s basketball team’s first edition of the Arkansas State Thanksgiving MTE on Monday, consisting of three games scheduled from Nov. 24-28 inside First National Bank Arena.

It is the first time A-State will host a multi-team event since the 2021-22 College Insider Eracism Invite. The Red Wolves dropped a matchup to Morehead State on Nov. 26, 2021, before defeating Kansas City two days later.

The Scarlet and Black host Jacksonville State on Nov. 24 at 7 p.m., marking the first time the programs have faced off on the hardwood. The matchup, sponsored by Shelter Insurance, will include a food drive hosted by the A-State Food Pantry.

One day later on Nov. 25, head coach Ryan Pannone will host a Thanksgiving Clinic sponsored by Lost Pizza Co. for campers ranging from kindergarten to sixth grade. Camp participant check-in begins at 8:30 a.m., while the event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, click here.

The Gamecocks face North Dakota State at 2 p.m. on Nov. 26, with free admission provided for all who attend.

Fans who make a canned food donation on Nov. 24 or attend the camp on Nov. 25 will receive one free upper-level ticket to the Red Wolves’ Nov. 28 contest against the Bison.

The matchup, scheduled for 2 p.m., will include a team poster giveaway, and the team will be available following its conclusion for an autograph session.

A camper reunion for all who attended on Nov. 25 will take place on the court during halftime.

A-State concludes a three-game road trip at Missouri State on Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. inside Great Southern Bank Arena. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+.
