Jonesboro, AR – (Contributed) – Arkansas State Baseball earned two preseason all-conference nominations heading into the 2026 season, the Sun Belt announced Wednesday.

Senior Patrick Engskov and Redshirt Sophomore Ashton Quiller were tabbed to the preseason all-conference team, with Engskov at the shortstop spot and Quiller claiming an outfield slot.

Engskov and Quiller are the first preseason nominations for Arkansas State since Jack Jumper from 2020.

Quiller led the team in batting in 2025 with 61 hits, stole 13 bases, and was second in runs scored in his debut season. Engskov started all 53 games last season, slashed .294/.366/.493, leading the team in slugging percentage and finishing second in batting average. He tied for second in hits (59) and finished the season with 35 RBIs, 13 doubles, and nine home runs.

The Red Wolves were selected ninth with 96 points in the preseason coaches poll, coming off a seventh-place finish and a 14-16 conference record.
