Jonesboro, AR – (Contributed) – Arkansas State University wrapped up Homecoming festivities on Saturday night with the crowning of Homecoming King and Queen.

The celebration was topped off with a Red Wolves win against Georgia Southern.

Abigail Spain, a senior strategic communication major from Milan, TN, was crowned queen, and Caleb (CJ) Sterrett, a junior civil engineering major from Dumas, was declared king during halftime of the football game.

The 10-member Homecoming Court was presented with Little Mister A-State, Cooper Day, son of Kyle and Shelby Day of Jonesboro. Little Miss A-State was Raleigh Brown, daughter of Ralo and Megan Brown of Jonesboro.

Spain, queen, was presented with a crown and bracelet. Sterrett, king, was presented with a watch. All gifts were courtesy of Sissy’s Log Cabin.

The king and queen were selected after each court candidate was interviewed and voted on by the student body on Thursday, Oct. 23.

The rainy night ended with a Red Wolves comeback victory over the Georgia Southern Eagles, outlasting them 34-24 at Centennial Bank Stadium.

Some started their Saturday morning early as the 5th annual College of Agriculture / Ag for Autism Furry 5K fun run and walk took place around campus, followed by a breakfast honoring the 2025 Distinguished Alumni in the Cooper Alumni Center.

Several gatherings also took place before the game, bringing alumni and fans back to campus, including the Homecoming tailgate and milestone reunions for the 1975, 2000 and 2015 classes.
