City of Jonesboro Trash, Recycling Pickup Schedules to be Adjusted for Independence Day Holiday

Jonesboro, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – Sanitation pickup schedules for the City of Jonesboro will be on adjusted schedules next week due to the Independence Day holiday.

The City of Jonesboro will observe the Independence Day holiday on July 3, according to a Facebook post from the city. Sanitation schedules will be adjusted accordingly during the week of June 29-July 4.

“Collections will occur ONE DAY EARLIER than your normal pickup day for routes affected by the holiday. Please place carts at the curb the night before your scheduled collection day,” the post said. “This holiday schedule moves collections earlier, not later.”

Adjusted Trash Collection Schedule:

  • Monday and Tuesday routes will be collected Monday, June 29
  • Wednesday routes will be collected Tuesday, June 30
  • Thursday routes will be collected Wednesday, July 1
  • Friday routes will be collected Thursday, July 2
  • No pickup on Friday, July 3, as city offices will be closed.
