CWL to Begin Flushing Its Water Systems in Jonesboro City Limits

Jonesboro, AR – Jonesboro Right Now – City Water and Light (CWL) of Jonesboro will begin flushing its systems on Sunday.

According to an announcement from CWL, the flushing will begin daily from 10:30 p.m. and conclude around 5:30 a.m. Flushing is scheduled for various areas within the Jonesboro city limits, with the schedule and affected areas below:

  • June 28: Flushing East Jonesboro. The northern boundary will be Highway 49, the southern boundary will be Highway 18, the western boundary will be Kathleen Street, and the eastern boundary will be Rogers Chapel Road.
  • June 29: Flushing Northeast Jonesboro/Farville area

Any areas that could not be completed on June 28 or 29 will be completed on June 30.

Flushing is done periodically to ensure the water’s taste quality remains high. Customers can still use water during the flushing.
