The parade itself will start at 10 a.m. in downtown Jonesboro. Veterans, as well as friends and family of veterans, are invited to celebrate.

After the parade will be a Veterans Day program, in which Rich Norris, president of the CCVMF and a retired Major U.S. Army, will serve as keynote speaker, according to a CCVMF news release. The program will take place on the east side of the Craighead County Courthouse, and special recognition will be given to veterans in attendance.

Memorial bricks purchased and placed this year will be acknowledged during the program. Veteran Parade announcer Will Silas will handle the announcing duties.

This year’s grand marshal will be World War/Korean War veteran Bill Gott of Jonesboro.

Chairs for older veterans will be provided along Main Street in front of the courthouse, and bleacher seating will be available for other attendees.

SONCOM Media Productions will livestream the parade on its Facebook page.
