Early voting for Nettleton Public Schools millage continues

Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Early voting for the proposed millage increase for Nettleton Public Schools continued this week.

Voters are deciding whether to increase Nettleton’s millage by 4.8 mills, bringing the overall millage rate to 43.38 mills. If passed, the millage would fund various capital improvement projects across the district.

Early voting began Nov. 12. According to numbers released on Thursday by Craighead County, 112 people have cast their votes in total.

Early voting will conclude at 5 p.m. on Nov. 17. Those wanting to cast their vote may do so at the Election Annex, located at 315 W. Jefferson Ave. in Jonesboro, and the Lake City Courthouse, located at 107 Cobean Blvd. in Lake City. Both locations open at 8 a.m.

Election Day voting will be Nov. 18 from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the STEAM Safe Shelter, located at 2305 Vera St.
