Easter Guide 2026: Events and services across Craighead County

Craighead County, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – As Easter draws near, JRN has compiled a list of Easter events across Craighead County.

Easter Events:

Several community groups and churches will be inviting the public to Easter festivities this year. To add your egg hunt or event to the list, email news@jonesbororightnow.com with “Easter event” in the subject field.

March 28:

Lake City Easter Egg Hunt:

  • When: 10 a.m.
  • Where: Wayne “Biscuit” Park on Nash Street, Lake City
  • Details: This event will feature egg hunts for ages 0-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-13. There will also be sensory-friendly egg hunts for ages 0-6 and 7-13.

Meet the Easter Bunny:

  • When: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Where: Farm Bureau Insurance, 2731 E. Highland Drive, Jonesboro
  • Details: This will feature a meet-and-greet with the Easter Bunny. Parents are free to take their own photos. It will also include some agriculture-themed activities.

April 1:

KLEK 102.5 FM and Glory 104.3 FM Bible Giveaway:

  • When: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., or while supplies last
  • Where: KLEK 102.5 studio, 1411 Franklin St., Jonesboro
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: Community members are invited to receive a free Bible for themselves, their family, or someone in need. No registration required. A total of 160 Bibles will be given away. Click here for more information.

Holy Week Eggs-perience:

  • When: 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • Where: First United Methodist Church youth building, 801 S. Main St., Jonesboro
  • Details: This event will feature interactive Holy Week stations, an egg hunt, candy and prizes, and photos with the Easter Bunny.

April 3:

2026 Northeast Arkansas Humane Society Annual Easter Bake Sale:

  • When: Starts at 7 a.m., lasts until all items are sold
  • Where: Faith Free Will Baptist Church Family Life Center, 1008 E. Highland Drive, Jonesboro
  • Details: Proceeds from this event will benefit the NEAHS. The organization is in need of baked goods, dog and cat treats, as well as gluten-free, sugar-free and keto items to sell. Easter photos with shelter dog Hooch are available from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with a minimum donation of $10. More information here.

April 4:

Easter Egg Hunt Eggstravaganza:

  • When: 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
  • Where: Central Baptist Church Jonesboro, 3707 Harrisburg Road, Jonesboro
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: This event will include egg hunts, food trucks, inflatables and a petting zoo. Click here to register.

Easter Fest 2026:

  • When: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Where: Pavilions 3 and 4 at Craighead Forest Park, 4910 S. Culberhouse Road, Jonesboro
  • Details: This event will feature an Easter egg hunt, free food and drinks, a lemonade stand, and a DIY resurrection egg craft station.

Otwell Easter Egg Hunt:

  • When: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Where: Otwell Christian Church, 89 County Road 221, Jonesboro
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: This event will have an Easter egg hunt. Pizza will be provided.

Easter Egg Hunt at Little Lattes Play Cafe:

  • When: 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Where: Little Lattes Play Cafe, 1312 Red Wolf Blvd., Suite E, Jonesboro
  • Cost: Play passes are $14 plus tax
  • Details: This event will include an Easter egg hunt and pictures with the Easter Bunny. A gift bag is included with entry.

Annual Bono Easter Egg Hunt:

  • When: 1 p.m.
  • Where: Tan Pavilion at Legacy Park in Bono
  • Details: This egg hunt is for kids aged birth through 12.

Easter Jam 2026:

  • When: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Where: Forest Home Church of the Nazarene, 2403 Ritter Drive, Jonesboro
  • Details: This event will include an egg hunt, games, worship, and telling of the Easter story. It will also feature a petting zoo and inflatables.

Free Community Easter Egg Hunt:

  • When: 2 p.m.
  • Where: Restore Church, 10211 Highway 49, Brookland
  • Cost: Free
  • Details: This event will have an egg hunt for kids aged birth through 4th grade. Kids in grades 5-8 will participate in an egg toss. Door prizes will be given out.

Glow-in-the-Dark Easter Egg Hunt:

  • When: 2 p.m. for ages 5 and under, 3 p.m. for ages 6-12
  • Where: Hijinx, 3102 Shelby Drive, Jonesboro
  • Details: This event will include glow-in-the-dark egg hunts in Hijinx’s Lasertron Arena. Participants can spin the wheel to win various goodies, and the Easter Bunny will be there from 2-4 p.m. for photos.

April 5:

Easter Gathering:

  • When: 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
  • Where: Fellowship Jonesboro Church, 1801 Woodsprings Road, Jonesboro
  • Details: Participants will sing a few songs and hear a message about the Gospel of Jesus. The event will conclude with an egg hunt on the lawn for kids.

Holy Week Services:

Area churches will be holding their regular Easter Sunday services; however, JRN has compiled additional services held during Holy Week, the week leading up to Easter. Readers should check with their individual church to see if and/or when their Holy Week services are.

Blessed Sacrament Church:

  • Where: 1107 E. Highland Drive, Jonesboro
  • Details:
    • Holy Thursday: April 2 at 6:30 p.m. This is a bilingual service.
    • Good Friday: April 3. An English service will be held at 5:30 p.m., and a Spanish service will take place at 7 p.m.
    • Easter Vigil: April 4 at 8 p.m.
    • Easter Sunday: April 5. Mass will be held at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Spanish Mass will take place at 12 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Central Baptist Church:

  • Where: 3707 Harrisburg Road, Jonesboro
  • Details:
    • Good Friday: April 3 at 6 p.m.
    • Saturday Easter Service: April 4, 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
    • Easter Sunday: April 5, 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Fellowship Jonesboro:

  • Where: 1801 Woodsprings Road, Jonesboro
  • Details:
    • Good Friday: April 3 at 6:30 p.m.
    • Easter Sunday: April 5 at 10 a.m.
  • Note: From Monday, March 30, to Wednesday, April 1, the church will have prayer sessions at 6:30 a.m. and noon for Holy Week.

First Baptist Church:

  • Where: 701 S. Main St., Jonesboro
  • Details:
    • Palm Sunday: March 29
    • Good Friday: April 3, 6 p.m.
    • Easter Sunday: Services will be held at 8:45 a.m. and 11 a.m. There will be a brunch at 9:45 a.m.

First Methodist Church:

  • Where: 201 Olympic Drive, Jonesboro
  • Details:
    • Maundy Thursday: April 2, 6 p.m.
    • Good Friday: April 3 at 6 p.m.
    • Easter Sunday: April 5. The 8:15 a.m., 9:30 a.m., and 11 a.m. times are contemporary services. There is also an 11 a.m. traditional service. A sunrise service will take place at 6:30 a.m. at Pavilion 1 in Craighead Forest Park.

First United Methodist Church:

  • Where: 801 S. Main St., Jonesboro
  • Details:
    • Maundy Thursday: April 2, 6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Communion will be served.
    • Good Friday: April 3 at 12:05 in FUMC Sanctuary; and 6:30 p.m. at Cornerstone United Methodist Church Sanctuary, located at 1910 Disciple Drive.
    • Easter Sunday: April 5. A modern service will take place at 9:15 a.m. in Wesley Hall, while a classic service will take place at 11 a.m. in the Sanctuary.

Restore Church:

  • Where: 10211 Highway 49, Brookland
  • Details:
    • Good Friday: April 3 at 6:30 p.m.
    • Easter Sunday: April 5 at 10 a.m.
