Jonesboro, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – A search for two people with active warrants at a Jonesboro hotel on Monday resulted in the seizure of fentanyl and meth, leading to multiple arrests.

On March 2, Jonesboro police officers went to the Baymont by Wyndham at 2910 Kazi Street to find two subjects with active arrest warrants: 32-year-old David Martrell Hill, of Jonesboro, and 32-year-old Erica Elizabeth Henn, of Marked Tree.

According to the probable cause affidavit, officers met Hill inside on the second floor of the hotel and took him into custody. They then went to Room 330, where they found Henn along with 25-year-old Mercedes Justazia Allen. Because Henn is on active probation, a search of the room was conducted.

Police found several drugs inside the room, including 14 fentanyl pills, 8.45 grams of meth, 4.47 grams of marijuana, and a meth pipe.

During recorded interviews, Henn and Allen said the drugs in the room belonged to Hill, who had been staying with them. Hill admitted that the drugs were his and that Henn and Allen had nothing to do with them.

Hill appeared before District Judge David Boling, who found probable cause to charge him with the following:

  • Possession of fentanyl, a Class C felony.
  • Possession of meth or cocaine greater than two grams but less than 10 grams, a Class C felony.
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class D felony.
  • Possession of a Schedule VI substance less than four ounces, a Class A misdemeanor.

Hill is currently being held on a $75,000 cash/surety bond. If convicted on all charges, he faces up to 27 years in prison and $32,500 in fines. Hill is scheduled to be back in court on April 23.

Henn also appeared before Boling, and she faces one class B felony: Possession of meth or cocaine with the purpose to deliver greater than two grams but less than 10 grams. Due to being on probation from a 2025 case, she could face a revocation of her original charges, which include possession of meth or cocaine less than two grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with physical evidence. Her bond was set at $25,000. Henn is scheduled for her next court appearance on March 20.

Allen was released around 8:40 a.m. March 4. Her charge was listed as possession of meth or cocaine with the purpose to deliver greater than two grams but less than 10 grams.
