Jonesboro, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – Democratic congressional candidate Dr. Terri Yarbrough Green made a campaign stop in Jonesboro Saturday as part of her official kickoff tour across Arkansas’s First Congressional District.

Green wrapped up the day at Native Brew Works, meeting with supporters and outlining her message centered on economic opportunity, government accountability, and support for working families.

Speaking to the Jonesboro crowd, Green emphasized what she described as a need for practical solutions over political rhetoric.

“When farmers thrive, towns thrive. When small businesses grow, jobs grow. When working families have breathing room, hope grows,” Green said. “That kind of hope is practical. It’s built on real policy, not empty promises.”

Green also highlighted agriculture and small business as key pillars of Northeast Arkansas’ economy, tying those issues directly to her campaign platform.

Earlier in the day, her campaign held a kickoff event in West Memphis at the Broadway Food Park, where she delivered a similar message focused on fairness and accountability in Washington.

“Right now, too many politicians in Washington are no longer serving the people,” she said. “Arkansans aren’t asking for special treatment. They’re asking for fairness and a real chance to achieve life, liberty, and happiness.”

Green will challenge incumbent Republican Congressman Rick Crawford in the November general election.

According to her campaign, Green is calling for what she describes as “honest democracy” and is encouraging voters across the First District to become actively involved in the campaign.

Her Jonesboro appearance marks one of the first public stops of her campaign as she begins outreach across Northeast Arkansas and other parts of the district.
