Jonesboro executives honored at Executive of the Year award ceremony

Little Rock, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Amanda and Ted Herget, owners of Gearhead Outfitters, were honored at the Arkansas Business Executive of the Year Awards on Thursday.

The couple won top honors in the “Small Private Company” category, which recognizes organizations with revenue less than $75M. Other finalists from the area include Hytrol Conveyor Company president David Peacock in the “Large Private Company” category and Arkansas State University chancellor Todd Shields in the “Public Sector/Education” category.

Ted Herget founded Gearhead Outfitters in Jonesboro in 1997 and runs the retail company with his wife, Amanda. The ceremony was held on Nov. 13 at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock.

The Arkansas Executive of the Year program honorees are chosen by an independent panel of judges who selected finalists based on professional achievements, leadership excellence and community impact.

The program was created to recognize senior executives across multiple industries. Recognition categories cover small and large private companies, nonprofit organizations, public sector/education and Financial Executive of the Year. More information on the program can be found here.
