Jonesboro, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.

JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week. If interested in adopting or volunteering with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, go to neahs.org.

Meet Monkey: Monkey is a 4-year-old male who has been in the shelter for two years. He’s 63 lbs, neutered, microchipped, and HW negative. Most importantly, he’s super friendly and affectionate– he loves other dogs and people of all ages. Full of energy, Monkey is the life of the party and a definite staff favorite!

Meet Rorsh: Rorsh is a 2-year-old male who has been in the shelter for 25 weeks. He’s up to date on all of his vaccines and preventatives and has already been neutered. He will be microchipped when adopted. Rorsh is the friendliest cat we’ve ever seen! He’s affectionate and cuddly and loves to give hugs.
