Jonesboro sanitation routes to be on adjusted schedules for holidays

Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Sanitation routes for the City of Jonesboro will be on adjusted schedules starting next week due to the Christmas and New Year’s holidays.

In a Facebook post, the city said any updates would be posted to its social media outlets. The adjusted garbage and recycling pickups are listed below.

Dec. 22-27 Schedules:

Garbage Pickup:

  • Monday, Dec 22: Normal collection
  • Tuesday, Dec. 23: Normal collection
  • Wednesday, Dec. 24: No collection, as city offices will be closed
  • Thursday, Dec. 25: No collection, as city offices will be closed
  • Friday, Dec. 26: Run Wednesday and Thursday routes
  • Saturday, Dec. 27: Run Thursday route

Recycling Pickup:

  • Tuesday, Dec. 23: 4th Tuesday
  • Wednesday, Dec. 24: No collection, as city offices will be closed
  • Thursday, Dec. 25: No collection, as city offices will be closed
  • Friday, Dec. 26: 4th Wednesday and 4th Thursday
