Jonesboro, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – A convicted Jonesboro felon is behind bars again, this time on a $150,000 cash/surety bond, after police said she entered a home and stole a handgun.

District Judge Tommy Fowler found probable cause June 19 to charge 33-year-old Erica Elizabeth Henn with the following offenses:

  • Theft of a firearm valued at less than $2,500 (Class D felony)
  • Aggravated residential burglary (Class Y felony)
  • Possession of a firearm by certain person/prior felony (Class D felony)

According to the probable cause affidavit, on June 10, Jonesboro police officers were dispatched to West Monroe Avenue in response to a report of a stolen firearm.

The victim, who was said to be deaf, told police that he woke up to uninvited individuals inside his home. The victim told the individuals to leave, to which they complied. When the victim went to get his firearm, he noticed it was missing. He contacted police as a result.

Video footage from the residence showed Henn entering the home without the victim opening the door. Later, she is seen leaving the front door, carrying a handgun. She then got in a vehicle and drove off.

During an interview, Henn admitted to entering the home and leaving with the handgun. She also told detectives of the handgun’s location, and they were able to find it.

Court documents note that Henn was previously convicted in 2025 of possession of a controlled substance (meth or cocaine) less than two grams. She pled guilty and was sentenced to 18 months of probation.

Henn’s next court appearance is scheduled for July 30. If convicted on all charges, she faces up to life in prison and fines up to $20,000.
