Jonesboro, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – The 2026 annual ball for Junior Auxiliary (JA) has been announced for late February.
The theme for this year’s ball will be “An Evening in Oz – The Emerald City Awaits”. The event will take place on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, at the Embassy Suites Jonesboro Red Wolf Convention Center.
This year’s gala is inspired by Oz and will include an Emerald City-themed gaming room and auction items. This is JA’s only annual fundraiser, and 100 percent of the proceeds benefit 12 local service projects. Those projects support children and families across Craighead County.
The evening will begin with registration and a cocktail hour at 5:00 p.m., sponsored by First Horizon Bank. Following the cocktail hour will be a dinner, program, and live auction beginning at 6:00 p.m. After the auction, a gaming room featuring poker, roulette, craps, and Emerald City-inspired surprises will open.
Event highlights include:
- Dinner, live music, dancing, and a gaming room
- Silent Auction sponsored by Century Finance, featuring travel packages, local experiences, and unique items
- Live Auction with sporting events, hunting packages, shopping sprees, and more
- Raffle drawing for a “Wicked Weekend” in Little Rock, including opening-night tickets to Wicked at the Robinson Theatre, dinner, and a stay at the Capital Hotel
- Live entertainment by local band Everyday Life, followed by DJ Spence of Suspence Entertainment
- Red Carpet entrance and photo opportunities, including a 360 Photo Booth sponsored by Fergus Orthodontics and the E.C. Barton & Company Photo Booth
Tickets are $175 per person or $350 per couple and can be purchased at jajonesboro.org/charityball or by texting CHARITYBALL2026 to 44834. Raffle tickets are $10 apiece and can be purchased from any Junior Auxiliary member.
