Jonesboro, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – Coin Goblin Gamers Lounge is expanding its footprint in Jonesboro with a second location created for walk-in players.

The new space, located at 3310 Southwest Drive, will celebrate its grand opening on Thursday, May 30, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. To mark the occasion, the lounge is offering one free hour of play to everyone who attends.

“No catch,” the owners stated in their announcement. “Just come in, grab a controller, and experience everything we have to offer on us.”

As the original location at 2929 South Caraway Road surged in popularity, a problem emerged. Walk-in customers were increasingly turned away because the facility was completely booked for birthday parties and private events.

“Honestly, having to disappoint so many people, having to turn them away because we’re having a birthday party. It just sucks to see people be disappointed,” co-owner Anya Setzler explained.

The new location will not hold private parties entirely, ensuring the space remains a reliable spot for casual, drop-in gaming. It also features major accessibility upgrades, including double doors at the entrance, zero-step parking lot access, and a large, disability-friendly bathroom.

Setzler noted the new space will feature higher-end equipment, including advanced VR systems with treadmills and chairs, and it will serve as a place for gaming tournaments and events.

When asked if she ever anticipated opening a second location so quickly, Setzler admitted she did not. She credits their rapid growth to the deep relationships they’ve built locally, particularly their close work with the special needs community.

“Honestly, everything, it means the world to me,” Setzler said. “Just to see these children be happy every day, it makes my day, and the birthday parties, and just being a part of people’s real special memories means so much to me.”

However, Setzler views this split-location strategy as a “temporary situation.” When the leases are up in about five years, the ultimate goal is to merge the two locations into one massive arcade that features a completely separate party room.

The grand opening celebration will also feature a raffle for a birthday party package valued at $400. It will include pizza, cupcakes, decorations and photo booth access. Raffle tickets are available for $5, and the winner will be drawn at 7 p.m. on opening day. Setzler clarified that this private party package will be hosted at the original Caraway Road location.

Looking ahead to opening day, Setzler expects the Meta Quest VR systems to be the biggest draw for the crowd. Ultimately, the expansion is about making gaming experiences accessible to everyone in the Jonesboro area.

“I’m glad to be able to provide this for children that don’t have the money for a console at home,” Setzler said.
