Little Rock, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Aug. 8, 2025 – The Arkansas State Medical Board on Friday voted to revoke the medical license of Dr. David Diffine.

The board made the decision based on a “preponderance of the evidence” that he violated the Arkansas Medical Practices Act.

A medical license revocation lasts five years, although one can reapply after the five years are up.

Diffine’s license was suspended in October 2024 following allegations of sexual contact with staff members. The board received the initial complaint in July 2024.

In videos sent with the complaint, Diffine could be seen walking around his Blytheville clinic naked with staff present. He also performed a sexual act on an employee, which ended with him ejaculating on her, the video showed.

“There is no medical school, residency, fellowship, hospital, training program, where you learn this type of behavior or this type of behavior is tolerated,” said Dr. Brian McGee, one of the board members. “This is not normal, professional behavior.”

Another board member, Dr. Brad Thomas, added: “I still feel like my greatest concern is I just, I still don’t feel like there’s safety there for potential future patients.”

During the hearing, board members heard from Diffine, as well as some of his colleagues and former employees.

“I apologize for my behavior in those videos,” Diffine told board members. “I regret those actions that night. And there were some poor choices. I did have some poor boundaries back at that time.”

In 2017, the state medical board temporarily suspended Diffine’s license over allegations of overprescribing drugs to patients. However, the board dismissed the charges after finding no proof of the allegations.

Diffine’s main office is in Blytheville, however, he also operates clinics in Bono and Paragould.

The full hearing is below.
