Jonesboro, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.

JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week. If interested in adopting or volunteering with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, go to neahs.org.

Meet Haze: Haze is a 5-and-a-half-year-old female who is a larger size mix, weighing in at 56 lbs. She’s up to date on vaccines and preventatives, microchipped and spayed, and is heartworm negative. We can’t believe she’s been here for two years! She’s great with kiddos, playful, and a big cuddle bug, so we know Haze will make someone’s family the perfect addition!

Meet Beth Dutton: Beth came in a week ago with her litter of kittens, half of whom have already been adopted! She’s a 1-year-old calico domestic short hair, and she’s already been microchipped, spayed, and brought up to date on her vaccines. Beth is a good-looking girl who loves her fluffy, covered bed, and she’s ready for a furever home!
