Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.

JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week. If interested in adopting or volunteering with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, go to neahs.org.

Meet Sister: Sister is a medium-sized female mix; she weighs 36 lbs., is three years and four months old, and has been in the shelter for 17 weeks. She’s up to date on all of her vaccines, and while she came in heartworm positive, she’s now been treated. Sister is also microchipped and spayed. She loves her canine playmate, Roper, and our fall intern, Anna Kate!
