Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.

JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week. If interested in adopting or volunteering with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, go to neahs.org.

Meet Mace: Mace is an 8-month-old male domestic shorthair. He came in about two weeks ago with Archer as part of a welfare case. He’s in good health and up to date on all vaccines and preventatives. Mace is friendly with people and other animals and will make someone a wonderful pet!

She’s already been spayed. Mocha is energetic, affectionate, and intelligent. She loves people and other dogs, so she’s a staff favorite!
