Jonesboro, AR – (Contributed) – Aug. 16, 2025 – The Price Sisters Band will perform a concert as part of the Bluegrass Monday concert series presented by KASU 91.9 FM.
Graduates of Morehead State University’s bluegrass music program, twin sisters Lauren Price Napier and Leanna Price, have garnered significant recognition in the bluegrass world.
They signed with Rebel Records in 2016, releasing an EP that same year and their first full-length album, “A Heart Never Knows,” in 2018. Their talent extends internationally, with performances across the United States, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Canada. They also recently made their debut on the iconic Grand Ole Opry stage in Nashville, TN.
Now signed to the Del McCoury Band’s family label, McCoury Music, The Price Sisters released their latest album, “Between the Lines,” produced by Ronnie McCoury, in 2024.
In addition to the sisters, they are supported by a group of accomplished musicians, including banjo player Trevor Holder, bassist Bobby Osborne Jr., and guitarist Conner Vlietstra. Lauren plays mandolin, and Leanna plays fiddle. Their sound blends traditional bluegrass with a fresh and innovative approach.
The Price Sisters have received numerous accolades. They have also appeared in Mandolin Café, Fiddler Magazine, and multiple issues of Bluegrass Unlimited magazine. In addition, they have also been highlighted by outlets such as No Depression, Paste Magazine and The Bluegrass Situation.
The band was nominated for the International Bluegrass Music Association’s (IBMA) Momentum Band of the Year in 2024 and 2019. Lauren has received nominations for Momentum Vocalist and Instrumentalist of the Year and Leanna for Momentum Vocalist. They’ve also been an official showcase act for the IBMA and performed at festivals.

Ticket prices for the Bluegrass Monday concert are $10 per person, payable by cash at the door the night of the concert, or can be purchased ahead of time online. Everyone aged 18 and under will be admitted free. Ticket proceeds go to the musicians, compensating them for their performance.
The concert will be at 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 25, at the Collins Theatre, 120 W. Emerson St. in Paragould.
Groups of eight or more may request reserved seating by contacting KASU’s Marty Scarbrough. Theater doors open at 6 p.m., and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Acoustic musicians are invited to participate in a bluegrass music jam session to begin at 5 p.m. in the Joe Wessell Building, adjacent to the Collins Theatre. Several seats will be reserved for jammers and their guests so they can play until the concert begins.
The Bluegrass Monday concert series is a non-profit presentation of KASU-FM, providing music fans with an affordable and outstanding evening of family-friendly entertainment. Bluegrass Monday concerts occur on the fourth Monday night of each month, except July and December.
